Michael was professional, knowledgable, helpful, but above all he listened and helped our family make the decision that was best for us at this time. He really took the time to understand our situation and offered multiple options that best suited our families needs unlike other agents who are quick to list your home to make their commission. Bought a Single Family home
We contacted Mike to help us buy a home in the Boise area. We moved from Utah, so we didn't know the area at all. We had a short time frame and really only one day to look at houses. He worked with us before our house hunting trip to figure what we were looking for. When we arrived, he showed us 20+ houses in one day! He explained the different areas and the great things about Boise as we drove around to the houses. Once we put the offer in on the house we wanted, he was very quick in communicating what needed to happen. All in all, he did what needed to get done to make sure we could move into the new house when we needed to. He made a very stressful process much easier.

Michael is a pro. He knows the local market but can also relate to the out of towner relocating because he was that once upon a time. He was gracious to spend time showing out of towners key points around town, so he is not just interested in showing you house x y and z. He is responsive to questions and knows the real estate process. I would recommend him to anyone.

We are exploring where we would like to retire and decided that we might want to check out the Boise area as an option in the near future. We contacted Michael who responded quite quickly to my request. I told him what our ideas were in regards to retirement and scoping out different areas. He told us if ever wanted to come to Boise to let him know and he would give us a tour of the city and the surrounding areas to the city so we could get a lay of the land. The term he used, "So that you can narrow down the area where you might want to plant your flag." We met with him in Oct of 2015 and we could not have had a better experience!!! He picked us up at our hotel and took us around for 2 days!! First day was the tour of the city and surrounding are of the city and to look at a few houses I had seen on Zillow. After ascertaining what we were really looking for, he set up homes for the second day to look at in areas that were of interest to us. He NAILED IT!!! The homes we looked at were gorgeous and exactly the types of homes that would c be of interest to us. We will not be moving for the next few years, but in our opinion if we decide to "plant that flag" in Boise, we will not use anyone other then Michael. No pressure, straight facts, he listens to what you are saying and really hears you. Not to mention he is a very pleasant gentleman. Both my husband and I were very impressed. Even though we are not ready to buy yet, I would recommend him HIGHLY to anyone considering the Boise, ID area. You cannot lose.

Mike Edgar is an excellent realtor. I work for a title insurance company, in which I work with real estate agents on a regular basis, and Mike is truly a cut above. He was exceedingly responsive, smart, and loyal. For example, our lender made some mistakes, and Mike was quick to help the lender understand the right way to do things. Without Mike involved our closing would have been delayed at least a week, and probably longer. When we have a friend who is looking to buy or sell a home, Mike will be the first realtor we recommend.

Mike is the best Real Estate Agent I have ever worked with! He came prepared to our first meeting with a complete market analysis of what the home was worth and offered recommendations to enhance the property to realize full value. This was an estate sale and I live in another state which presented logistical challenges. Mike coordinated the selection of contractors and managed the repair/cleanup process for me. He also kept me informed throughout the process. Mike truly went "above and beyond" what most agents will do for client. Even better, Mikes recommendations which were not expensive and resulted in a fast sale at 99% of the listing price. Mike has unbelievable follow-through and his word is gold. I highly recommend Mike. He made the selling of our home painless.

"I was in the area in May of 2015. Drove up from Ca. sadly my truck broke down so I was stuck at the Hotel. Mike picked me up early the next day so I would not have to sit around. After showing a few homes to another couple. He then took me out and showed me some homes for my future info. Then took me back to the dealer to pick up my truck. On December 26, I flew up to Boise. Mike and I got together on Sunday looked at several homes, sadly the homes I liked from websites were sold before I got there. Mike knew my price range, so we looked at homes that fit. Several new homes, some existing We narrowed it down to 2 homes 1 built in 2008 (needed paint) and a newer 1 (2013). Needs landscaping and fencing. The 2008 home fit my needs better, but it was 6 years older. Mike and I talked and he though the newer home was a better value. So I ended up buying that one. Now Mike is keeping an eye on the place for me until I move in in late Marc"

He is very knowledgeable of the market and helps you to make the best decisions, financially and for your family. He is also familiar with the rental market and helped us make decisions about a house we were turning into a rental. "I contacted Michael Edgar and a few other Brokers/Agents, informing them I would be coming to Boise, and potentially buying a home - that it was one of several metro areas I was considering. We used the same process in Salt Lake City, Tacoma, and Portland. Michael is head-and-shoulders above the others. Michael took two days and not only showed us houses, but wanted us to understand the different areas/communities of the metro area, where restaurants were, the river park, university, lake, etc., that we would first be able to identify the area we desired to live, then to find a home we would be interested in. Michael took us all over, gave us suggestions for each evening after we parted, and has remained in communication with us in the months since we saw him. We will be moving to Boise, and we will be asking Michael to represent us as our buyer's agent. He is organized, thorough, responsive, articulate, and engaged. We found Michael Edgar about 8 months ago, here on Zillow. We were impressed with the size of his recent sales portfolio. We brought a complicated residential property to him that would only fit the profile of a narrow band of high-value buyers looking for a large single-residence lot for new construction. He embraced it with a professional marketing process that successfully reached the target audience for this exclusive property. Before it closed, two full-price buyers were lined up to purchase it. It closed with the first buyer. Mr. Edgar is highly organized, knowledgeable and resourceful. I would like to work with him again. Thank you, Mike, for a tremendous effort that made it possible to reach our goal.
